South Carolina Wildlife Federation
The South Carolina Wildlife Federation ADVOCATES for wildlife, habitat and the environment, EDUCATES citizens in the conservation ethic, and SUPPORTS outdoor traditions. For hunter and birdwatcher, teacher and backpacker, gardener and farmer, SCWF serves as an organization representing various interests. SCWF builds partnerships to help ensure that our children and grandchildren can enjoy the state’s natural heritage and opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Mosquitoes and gnats bite people to use the blood to help the eggs develop. But only females do this, the males are harmless and drink nectar from flowers.
